So, Brandon had every intention of showing grandpa Vergara the highlights from his trip to Australia but Rissy ran out of gas...again. This time she was on her way to take Jordan to camp and intended to fill up with gas after dropping Jordan at climbing camp to ensure that he arrived on time. They ran out of gas on the freeway this time. I left to go and collect Jordan for camp and while he arrived late, it was nice to see the other campers greet him excitedly.
Later that afternoon Dad went to see Dr. Kim for acupuncture! I thought this was a HUGE move for someone who was brought up so traditionally when it comes to medical treatment.
It was nice to see Dr. Kim and catch up on his family.
Dad was angry that acupuncture resulted in more pain initially following the treatment. I was able to ease the discomfort with ice and a nap. He was better after he spent time on the computer for distraction too. I was delighted to hear, that although he had me cancel his follow up appointment with Dr, Kim, as he was going to look in to it with a provider in St Louis. Go Dad for checking in to alternative treatment!
