Finny's birthday

Today is Finny's 3rd birthday. Jeff decided to give him a bit of peanut butter, his favorite treat provided by his "first family":-) Finny decided not to stop at the spoon and head right for the jar that Jeff left open. Such a happy pug!

Then we took Finny for a walk, which we do two to three times a day. Finnegan LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to walk along the various retaining walls along the neighborhood. He gets to breathing faster and wagging harder the higher he goes:-) So today I decided to actually grab a picture of him doing just that for his birthday. Tonight Jeff and I are celebrating his birthday by going out for ice cream. YUM! Finn might even get a lick or two and is sure to get a lot of petting from passers by.

Get together

I was delighted and honored to share lunch with people from Minnesota, and my family here in Oregon. From left to right was my daughter Charissa, grandson JDiz, Lynn, grandson Bean, Jean Dille, Susie Fellner, and Don Dille. The day was a typical Oregon summer day...grey and cool. But our home was brightened by the company sharing our home. I made a light lunch that seemed to go over well. We had pasta salad, flatbread, and a yogurt pie. I was so honored that amongst all the people they have to see when they are out here in Oregon, that they would choose to spend an afternoon with me. Jeff was unable to be here as he was in New Mexico. The kids were well behaved and so polite, a delight to be with.
